My new "Butterfly Kachina Dancer"
This Butterfly Kachina Dancer stands 3 feet tall. Her body is formed by 48 carved eagle feathers that
were made from a singe sculpture gourd. She sits on a carved butterfly base that is adorned with inlaid
turquiose. Her face was sculpted from clay, then painted. Her headpiece is also made from a larger
gourd called a Zucci gourd. This too has inlaid turquiose throughout. Her hair is made from real horse
hair and is long down her back. So much detail was added to this piece. $1200. SOLD
